I'm Karim Belford, a passionate Full-Stack Developer with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Windsor. Ever since I was young, my love for video games inspired me to pursue a career in software development, fueled by my natural talent for problem-solving and a desire to create immersive experiences. With a strong foundation in various programming languages and frameworks, I specialize in full-stack development and am adept at working on all components of web applications. My educational background and hands-on experience have equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of both front-end and back-end development, enabling me to deliver robust and user-friendly applications. Outside of my professional endeavors, I continue to explore my passion for video games, both as a player and a creator. In addition, I enjoy staying active and engaging in sports, with soccer being my favorite. Statistical Arbitrage Bot

Crypto trading bot which trades using the staistical arbitrage trading strategy. The bot takes two crypto tickers and calculates z-score And if the calculation is above a certain threshold executes trades. The bot was developed using JavaScript and NodeJs. The bot runs on the Bybit exchange and the ByBit API was used to gather all crypto information.

E-commerce store where users can create an account and shop for various clothing Items. The user interface was devloped using JavaScript, ReactJs and Styled-components for the styling. The authentication for the sign in and registration page were developed using firebase authentication. The data for the store items were stored using firestore db.

Eye See You

Face Detection app where a user enters an image url and the app will detect if the image has a face and increase the users score for each face detected. User interface was devloped using JavaScript, ReactJs and CSS. The Clarifai api was used to get the face detection model. The server was devloped using NodeJs Express, Knex, and Cors to connect to the Postgress database.

Developed AI models using the Word2Vec algorithm and Graph embeddings Models developed were passed Facebook dataset and used Deepwalk to find similar pages and make recommendations based on a user’s interest
